The borough was looking for a way to receive community input early in the process of evaluating specific planning projects; well before the mandatory public consultation required by law. With their plateform, the first contact with the community takes place at the 3rd step, out of a total of 10 planned steps.

The community's opinions feed the reflection and discussions that will take place afterwards.

The star on the image below, from the client's plateform (in French), presents when the online participation was integrated in the process. By inviting the community to participate that early in the process, the information communicated on the platform is shared with the real estate company to inform the development of the project.
